West Pacific Brownie Try It and Junior Badge
Living overseas is a unique experience, and Brownie Girl Scouts have the opportunity to earn a unique try-it. Activities for this recognition were developed as a Gold Award project by a Senior Girl Scout on Okinawa, and then updated to fall into the New Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

In March 2008 Jessica Ehrlich and Emma Grubb created these awards while earning thier Bronze Award as Junior Girl Scouts. This is a great way for Brownie Girl Scouts and Junior Girl Scouts to immerse themselves in the environment.
Discover Patch
Exploration is fun! Help girls enjoy the cultural, historical, and geographical uniqueness of their host country through the Discover Program. Enjoy the best your community has to offer and help to further world understanding one girl at a time. The Discover Program can be completed alone or with the troop, culture class, or family in any amount of time while a girl is living in her host country.
Emergency Preparedness
Our unique geographic location give the West Pacific Girl scouts an opportunity to learn and practice disaster readiness. Through this project your troop can select a different focus each year: Fires, Earthquakes, or Typhoons.
Honor Troop Award
For those troops looking for a bigger challenge than the Well Rounded Troop. Once the requirements are completed, a ribbon is provided for the troop. Participation patches may be purchased fo the troop members. When the award is earned in subsequent years , strip segments may be purchased for that year.
